DIGITAL MANIPULATIONS

Digital manipulation is changing a photo with an editing software, which may have a similar end result or a completely different end result. Digital manipulation is an important skill to learn in photography because it gives you the opportunity to take a mundane photo and make it extraordinary. In addition to enhancing a photo and making it better it also gives you a leg up from other photographers that don't know how to do digital manipulation. Digital manipulation could benefit commercial photographers because being able to manipulate an image and make it anything you or the customer wants really opens you and your photography up to a larger audience.
